Sync

About

Sync is cloud storage built for privacy. It uses end-to-end encryption to keep your files safe, secure, and 100% private, and the website states that not even Sync can see them. You can access your files from your computers, mobile devices, and the web, and browse your cloud files directly from Mac Finder or Windows Explorer. Files on demand help free up storage space on your computer.

Sync also supports sharing and collaboration. Teams can create centralized folders that internal members and external collaborators can access, with permissions to protect important work. Documents can be shared through a custom-branded client file portal that displays your company logo. Sync backs up documents in real time, so files can be restored after ransomware, hardware failure, or human error.

Sync is also described as offering security and compliance features, along with certification under widely accepted security and privacy regulations. The website notes that over 2.7 million teams and people use Sync, and it offers a free plan with 5 GB of storage as well as paid plans.
