About
TablePro is a native database client for macOS that lets you run queries and browse and edit data in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB and Redis. Its SQL editor offers autocomplete for tables and columns from your schema, lets you save reused queries and search query history, and you can compare databases and generate sync scripts. Row edits wait until you save, so you can review the SQL first, and Safe Mode levels per connection control whether writes ask for confirmation or are refused entirely.
The app supports importing and exporting data in several formats, connecting over SSH tunnels, TLS or supported cloud sign-in methods, and organizing saved connections with groups and tags. It also includes an AI assistant that can explain or fix SQL using a provider you choose, including a locally running model, and a built-in MCP server that lets clients such as Claude Code, Cursor and Zed connect to saved connections with read-only access by default. TablePro is free and open source, with optional paid plans that add features to the Mac app, and a separate free companion app is available for iPhone and iPad.
