About
Tabularis is an open-source SQL workspace for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and 26 other databases. Its built-in MCP server lets AI tools such as Claude, Cursor and Devin read your schema and run queries, so SQL drafted and run by agents can be handled in the same client that you use yourself.
Beyond agent access, Tabularis works as a full workspace with a Monaco editor, SQL notebooks that combine SQL and Markdown, a visual query builder that shows the SQL it generates, visual EXPLAIN plans, and ER diagrams. It is local-first, with SSH and Kubernetes tunneling and system keychain storage for secrets, and it supports AI-assisted SQL drafting through OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or Ollama.
The website text does not describe the Tabularis Nightly build or any Mac-specific Nightly features, so this description covers the Tabularis client as a whole. It also lists a macOS GUI for Postgres among its solution pages, but it offers no details on Nightly builds.
