About
Tamery is a fast database client for macOS that works with Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle, ClickHouse, MongoDB, SQLite, Turso, and Cloudflare D1. It includes an ER diagram of your tables and relations, the ability to share a table as a read-only link with your filters and columns, and connections that sync across devices. Tamery is also open source and used by more than 3,000 people.
AI is built into the workflow. The assistant knows your schema, so you can ask questions in plain English and get the query, the answer, and a fix when something fails. You can also type a sentence such as "paid orders over $580" and Tamery turns it into filters you can still edit by hand. SQL completion suggests tables, columns, and the values a column takes, checked against your live schema.
Tamery also lets AI agents query your databases. Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients reach your databases through the desktop app. Agents can list tables, describe them, and run read-only queries without asking, but every write opens a dialog in Tamery and nothing runs until you press Run. Agents receive a token rather than your connection strings, and you choose what each connection allows.
