Texifier

About

Texifier is a native macOS app for writing LaTeX. It loads full multi-file projects, including sub-files, bibliographies and stylesheets, from a single main LaTeX file. Its syntax-highlighting editor is aware of LaTeX and BibTeX, offers themes, block comment and indent tools, and spell-checking as you type. Auto-complete covers common TeX commands and fills in \ref and \cite entries from labels and cite keys defined elsewhere in the document, while also serving as a quick LaTeX reference.

Texifier typesets as you type using its live typesetter, shows the PDF in an integrated viewer, and synchronises between the editor, document outline and PDF. It simplifies LaTeX error logs into a navigable list of errors, and it supports Markdown alongside LaTeX. Other features include a document outline with TODO listing, global search and replace across files, and support for several typeset engines (LaTeX, pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, LuaLaTeX, pLaTeX and others), multiple LaTeX distributions, custom .tpbuild typesetting scripts, templates, and configurable snippets assigned to hotkeys.
