About
TG Pro shows temperatures across your Mac, lets you check fan speeds, and lets you adjust cooling manually or automatically. Details are available right from the menu bar. You can monitor CPU temperatures, including individual cores on Apple Silicon, along with GPU, supported internal and external SSDs and hard drives (through SMART), and battery temperature, health, and charge cycles on supported laptops. Readings from components such as memory, power, and Thunderbolt ports are also available. Each sensor shows its current reading and the highest temperature recorded.
Fan control includes Auto Boost rules, which you can set for CPU, GPU, drive, or other sensor temperatures by choosing a threshold and fan speed for each rule. You can also adjust fan speeds manually or use Max for immediate cooling. Manual and Max options depend on your Mac model and settings, and fanless Macs can still monitor temperatures. TG Pro also checks fan and sensor status, battery health, and the last shutdown or sleep, and flags anything that needs attention.
TG Pro can notify you with on-screen notifications, email alerts that include system information, and CSV logs of temperatures, fan speeds, and diagnostic information. It runs natively on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, including Intel models with the T2 security chip, and supports macOS 10.14 to macOS 27. A 14-day free trial is available, and the app is a one-time $10 purchase with no subscription.
