Tight Studio is a free all-in-one screen recorder for Mac that lets you record, edit, and share in one app without exporting to another editor. It is aimed at product videos, user tutorials, onboarding guides, training videos, and customer support content. Its smooth zoom and cursor animation frames each click with a zoom-in and smooths out shaky cursor movement, and you can swap in a custom cursor icon.

Recording and editing tools include multi-clip recording, where you can record several takes and trim and arrange them in one project. You can also capture an iPhone or iPad alongside your Mac screen, use a teleprompter that displays your script while you record, and add intro and outro clips. For narration, Tight Studio offers a library of AI voices, lets you edit your script to re-record narration, and can clone your voice from a 20-second sample. Caption styles can be added with one click and customized, and layouts include picture-in-picture, split-screen, camera-only, and screen-only views. Annotations, custom backgrounds, and background music are also available.

For teams, Tight Studio provides share links that can be restricted to anyone with the link, a password, specific people, or just you, along with a shared team workspace organized by project and multi-user collaborative editing. Pricing includes a Free plan at $0 per month, a Plus plan at $9 per month billed yearly, and a Pro plan at $24 per month billed yearly, which adds AI voice and media features and 1000 AI credits per month.
