About
Tilde is a native Finder replacement for Mac that helps you keep folders side by side, organise files with custom properties, and give each project its own workspace. Its split views let you divide the window into as many panes as you need, each with its own tabs, while features like Workspaces let you save panes, tabs and folders as a layout and reopen it in one click. Custom Sidebars, Pinned Folders, Related Items and Nicknames help you navigate quickly, and Properties let you add custom fields to files and filter, group and sort them.
Tilde also includes tools for everyday tasks, such as Markdown viewing and editing, Image Operations for batch converting, resizing and flipping images, Bulk Rename, ZIP compression, Quick Look previews, code previews with syntax highlighting, and undo for moves, renames and copies. It works with the files and folders already on your Mac, and changes appear in Finder too, so nothing needs to be moved into Tilde.
Tilde requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It costs $29.99 as a one-time purchase with a lifetime license, one year of updates, and use on two Macs, and it offers a 7-day free trial that requires no credit card.
