About
TimeMachineStatus is a small menu bar application for macOS that aims to show more useful information than the system default. It shows the current Time Machine backup status in the menu bar and lists all backup destinations with detailed information about each one.
From the app you can start a backup on a specific volume, and you can customize the appearance of the menu bar item. The app is still in early development, and scheduling backups instead of hourly backups, along with per-volume scheduling, are planned on the roadmap.
TimeMachineStatus is available from GitHub Releases or through Homebrew with `brew install --cask timemachinestatus`. Once installed, it can update itself by selecting the "Check for updates..." button or by pressing ⌘ + U while the popover is active.
