About
Timemator is a Mac app that tracks your working time in the background. It automatically captures what you do on your Mac, so you can go back to review your activity on a timeline and assign time to your projects with a few clicks. Its auto-tracking recognizes activities such as designing in a layout app, coding in an IDE or text editor, editing video, and joining meetings.
If you prefer more control, you can also use a traditional start and pause timer, manually add timing sessions, or edit existing ones. You can organize your time by projects, clients, or both. Set an hourly rate for tasks and Timemator calculates your revenue, and you can export a report to send to your client. Charts let you compare tracked time by day or month, and you can filter, edit, or add sessions.
Timemator works offline and keeps your private data, such as tracked sessions and revenue, on your device. It creates automatic backups and lets you choose a custom backup location, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud Drive. It can also import CSV files, and it syncs tasks, folders, sessions, and auto-tracking rules across your Macs using iCloud. Timemator requires macOS Catalina (10.15) or higher.
