About
Tiny Shield is a Mac app that shows which apps connect to the internet. It lets you monitor all traffic from your Mac in one place, displaying domain names instead of hard-to-read IP addresses, and it works with DNS over HTTPS. A GeoIP map shows the countries where connections go, and bandwidth monitoring shows how much data each app, domain, or IP address sent and received, with history over the hour, day, week, and month.
You control your connections with several modes: Block Mode enforces your block rules as traffic happens, Allow All lets every connection through, Block All locks down all traffic, and Require Approval pauses connections from new apps until you allow or block them. With Require Approval, you can review the app, code signature, domains, IPs, countries, ports, and request count before deciding. Tiny Shield remembers your choice. You can also block specific websites and domains or block entire applications from accessing the internet.
Tiny Shield uses a System Extension to monitor traffic and is designed with developers in mind. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no hidden fees, and it requires macOS 15 or later.
