About
tinyMediaManager is a media management tool built with Java and Swing that provides metadata for media centers such as Kodi (formerly XBMC), Emby, Jellyfin, and Plex. Because it is Java-based, it is cross-platform and runs on macOS as well as Windows and Linux. It is designed to organize and clean up your media library.
For movies, tinyMediaManager gets data from TheMovieDB.org, TheTvDB.com, Fanart.tv, and other sources, creates NFO files for Kodi, Emby, Plex, and Jellyfin, and can automatically rename files and folders as you like. It also lets you organize movies into collections, set artwork for movie sets, and use NFO tags for movie sets. For TV shows, it finds shows and episodes in subdirectories, with episode and season detection, and gets data from TheTvDB.com, TheMovieDB.org, Fanart.tv, and other sources.
tinyMediaManager includes automatic updates to keep the app current. Its nested data source support allows folders that are already covered by another data source, or that contain one, to be added without the errors that previously blocked them.
