About
TonePrint is a free app that serves as the gateway to the TonePrint universe, a library of signature effect presets. Artist TonePrints are created with some of the world's most accomplished guitarists and bass players, who dial in their own sounds for use with the TonePrint pedal. The app also includes TC Electronic-made templates, ranging from classic vintage tones to more unusual sounds.
The app lets you adjust the TonePrint pedal's hidden parameters. You can reassign knobs to different parameters, change how many parameters are controlled, and shape the signal's EQ curve. These changes can alter the character of the pedal, even moving it into a different effect category, and you can save as many variations as you like.
To use a TonePrint, you find one you like in the app and transfer it to your pedal using your smartphone, held up to your guitar pickup. The app is aimed at players who want to tailor an effect to their own rig and musical needs.
