Topaz Photo

About

Topaz Photo is an image enhancement app made for on-location photographers. It lets you sharpen details, restore focus, and adjust levels on your photos, with AI-powered tools for tasks such as upscaling, denoising, sharpening, recovering faces, adjusting lighting, and balancing color. It is available on Mac and Windows, and you can use it as a standalone app or as a plugin for editors such as Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Capture One, Apple Photos, and Affinity Photos (manual install).

The app includes private local rendering, so your files never leave your computer, and unlimited cloud rendering, which reduces the load on your hardware. The website says the tools are useful for wildlife and astro photography, sports, events and weddings, and archival images, including removing dust and scratches.

Topaz Photo is presented as the final step before a photo is done. The website states that the software draws on more than 20 years of Topaz photo enhancement technology.
