About
uBar is a Dock replacement and taskbar for the Mac that can be configured as either a dock or a taskbar. Click an app to open its window menu, hover over an app for live window previews, or turn window grouping off to see every window in the bar. Window grouping can be set to Always, Never, or Automatic.
uBar supports multi-monitor setups. Each screen can show its own bar with only its apps and windows, or you can turn on Mirror mode to show the same bar on every screen. Bars can be placed on the bottom, left, right, or top edge in Small, Medium, Large, or Huge sizes, and they can be expanded up to five rows. Other features include app flashes when an app needs attention, progress display for media apps, app status and activity indicators, app badges, drag-and-drop launching of files and folders, favorites, clock and calendar, themes, and several app ordering options.
With Command, you can type in the bar or say "Hey uBar" to open apps, arrange windows, and click through menus. uBar requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later and offers a 14-day free trial. The Personal license is a one-time purchase of $39 for up to two Macs, and the Commercial license is $69 per employee for up to two Macs. uBar Cloud is optional and costs $2.99/month or $29.99/year to run Command on any Mac.
