About
Unblocked is a Mac app and context layer for agentic software development. It connects your code, conversations, issues, docs, product, and production systems, reasons across them, and gives AI agents the context they need to complete work correctly with less human intervention. Its Context Engine resolves conflicts between sources using recency, authority, and proximity signals, and it delivers results personalized to each developer with source links so answers are traceable.
According to the site, Unblocked builds a single knowledge graph across sources rather than separate searchable silos, enforces permissions at query time so context stays scoped to a user's repos and work, and mines implicit team conventions from PR review feedback and codebase patterns. Unblocked can be used through MCP, a CLI, Slack, a web interface, or an API.
The site reports results from a controlled comparison in which the same coding agent, codebase, and prompt were run with and without Unblocked: 48% fewer tokens and 83% faster on the task. Customer examples cited include Expo, Webflow, and Rally.
