About
UniClipboard lets you copy on one device and paste on any other, across Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, and Android. Text, images, and files move only between your own devices. There is no account to create and no server to run, since devices pair by exchanging a public key. Traffic goes directly between devices first, with an encrypted relay as fallback, and a LAN-only switch keeps everything on your local network and turns the relay off. Content is encrypted with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before it leaves your device, so the relay only sees ciphertext, and keys stay in the system keyring.
Sync is real-time and self-healing: it reconnects automatically after Wi-Fi switches, sleep/wake, and brief disconnects, and large files stream rather than needing to fit in memory. You can set send and receive direction and allowed content types per paired device, revoke a lost device from any other, and see each entry's source device and sync status. The Quick Panel provides a shortcut overlay with previews for text, links, images, code, and files, and local full-text search covers your history with an index that stays encrypted on disk. A command-line tool, uniclip, offers the same functions for terminals, SSH, and scripts.
UniClipboard is free and open source under AGPL-3.0, so you can read and verify the cryptography yourself. The desktop apps for Mac, Windows, and Linux are available for download, iOS is in public beta on TestFlight, and Android is available as a direct download.
