About
Unite turns the websites you rely on into focused, customizable Mac apps. Type a name or paste a URL, and Unite fills in the app name, icon, URL, and recommended settings so you can start using the app right away. Each app runs in isolation and can be configured in more detail, with suggestions for popular services and saved defaults for creating multiple apps quickly. Unite runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and requires macOS 15 or later.
Each Unite app can switch between three modes: Normal, a distraction-free window with toolbars that stay out of the way; Menu Bar, a lightweight app accessible from the menu bar; and Sidebar, a resizable panel for keeping key tools within reach. You can control how each app looks and behaves, including toolbars, title bars, and window chrome. Unite routes links to the right destination, whether another Unite app or a browser, and handles sign-in flows. You can also apply custom scripts and styles, use a built-in ad blocker, and set zoom levels for all sites or per site.
Unite also adds native macOS capabilities to select services. These include a floating overlay for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok; system-wide meeting alerts from Google Calendar and Outlook; dock icon badges for supported services; and speed controls for video playback. Additional features include a creation tool that lets you browse, search, filter, edit, and duplicate apps, and a built-in password manager with password generation, notes, and import and export.
