Usenapp

About

Usenapp is a native 64-bit usenet client for Mac OS X that includes a newsreader for browsing newsgroups and joining threaded discussions, SmartFolders, an NZB downloader, NZB search, SuperSearch and MegaSearch, and full Newznab and Spotweb support. It also offers automatic NZB download, auto repair and extraction, bandwidth limitation, posting of files and articles, full NZB file support, and an NZB watch folder. It requires macOS 10.11 or higher and runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel-based Macs.

Usenapp supports many NZB indexers, including Spotweb and Newznab sites, and its WatchDog feature checks your indexers and downloads content right after it is posted. SuperSearch is a free service for searching usenet articles posted in the last 30 days, and MegaSearch, starting at €2.99, extends searches up to 12+ years back. SmartFolders automatically save downloads to custom folders based on keywords in the NZB or filename.

Downloads are automatically repaired, merged, and extracted, and you can set keywords to delete unwanted extracted files and move the rest to a final destination. A 7-day free trial with full access is available, along with a limited-time 10% discount on purchases.
