VCam is a local AI meeting companion app for Mac and Windows that helps you look your best in every meeting and call. It offers webcam background removal, replacement, and blur, along with nametags, logos, and camera enhancements. You can choose from over 1,000 virtual backgrounds or upload your own.
VCam works anywhere you can use a camera, including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Discord, OBS Studio, and specialized software such as NCR's TellerNow. To set it up, download and open VCam, select VCam as the camera in your meeting app, and then choose a background or blur effect.
All VCam features run entirely on your device, and no camera feed is sent to VCam's servers. The site cites 98.5% accuracy with NPU-optimized models. VCam can be used free with a watermark, and a subscription removes the watermark.
