About
VCam is a Mac app that lets you become an avatar, so you can express yourself as the character you want to be. It works with most live streaming and web conferencing apps, including OBS Studio, Zoom, and Google Meet. You can choose VCam 3D, which uses VRM models for a 3D character, or VCam2D, which uses Live2D models for a 2D character.
You can use face, hand, and finger tracking directly in the app, and select VCam as a camera device in most software. VCam is optimized for macOS, with an optimized UI, a virtual camera function, and the ability to add it to the Mac menu bar. For features such as Perfect Sync, you can also integrate VCam with external apps like iFacialMocap and VCam Mocap.
The developer's goal is to let anyone easily become whoever they want to be, and to help spread VTuber culture to a wider audience.
