About
Vesktop is a custom Discord desktop app that aims to give you better performance and improved Linux support. It comes with Vencord preinstalled and is described as much more lightweight and faster than the official Discord app. On Linux, it supports screenshare with sound and Wayland.
Vesktop also aims for better privacy, since Discord has no access to your system. Global Keybinds are not yet supported, and the project's roadmap tracks this.
Vesktop is free software released under the GPL-3.0 license. Installation instructions are available at vesktop.dev/install, and the project can also be built from source using Git, Node.js, and pnpm.
