About
VibeProxy is a native macOS menu bar app that lets you use your existing Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini, Kimi, Qwen, Antigravity, and Z.AI GLM subscriptions with AI coding tools such as Factory Droids. Built on CLIProxyAPI, it handles OAuth authentication, token management, and API routing. You can start and stop the proxy server from the menu bar, and connect providers with a single click. Requires macOS 13 or later.
VibeProxy supports multiple accounts per provider, with automatic round-robin distribution and failover when rate-limited. You can enable or disable providers to control which models are available, with changes applied through instant hot reload. The app also shows live connection status, detects credentials automatically, and checks for updates daily through Sparkle. Setup guides are available for Factory CLI and Amp CLI.
VibeProxy can also route Claude requests through Vercel's AI Gateway, which the project describes as a safer way to access a Claude Max subscription than using OAuth tokens directly. The app is code signed and notarized, and advanced users can add persistent CLIProxyAPI overrides in ~/.cli-proxy-api/config.yaml.
