About
Vivid unlocks the full XDR brightness of supported M-series MacBook Pro models, Studio Display XDR, and Pro Display XDR. Your brightness keys go twice as bright as before, with no new shortcuts to learn, and the extra brightness keeps your screen clear outdoors in bright sunshine.
Vivid runs in Splitscreen Mode for free for as long as you want, so you can test it on half of your screen before buying. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription. Single licenses cost €10 for personal devices, Team licenses cost €40 for up to 5 devices, and Company licenses cost €60 for up to 10 devices. It requires an M-series MacBook Pro (14" or 16"), Studio Display XDR, or Pro Display XDR, and it supports all macOS versions, including macOS 27. Studio Display (non-XDR), MacBook Air, Intel MacBooks, and M1 MacBook Pro 13" are not supported.
Vivid says it does not use low-level display hacks, and it reports no noticeable CPU overhead. macOS limits maximum brightness if a display gets too warm. Vivid is available as a free download with a one-time in-app purchase on the Mac App Store, on Gumroad, and through Setapp for subscribers.
