About
Waku is a native Mac app that drives the agent CLIs you already use. Sessions, transcripts, tool activity, and checkpoints all live in one fast window. It is built with Rust and GPUI, the GPU-accelerated framework behind Zed, rather than Electron, so it launches quickly and scrolls smoothly through long transcripts. Each agent connects over its strongest native interface and is normalized into one provider-neutral timeline.
Every prompt checkpoints your working tree under a hidden git ref, so you can roll back both the code and the provider conversation together. Waku is keyboard-first: ⌘N starts a session, ⏎ queues a follow-up while the agent works, ⌘⏎ steers it mid-turn, and Escape stops it. Projects, sessions, transcripts, and provider IDs stay on your disk, with no account, no telemetry, and no Waku cloud in between. The app is signed, notarized, and auto-updated via Sparkle with binary deltas.
