About
Wave is an open-source terminal with file previews, file editing, AI, web browsing, and workspace organization. It is available for macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel, as well as Linux and Windows, and is currently offered as a beta download.
Wave lets you manage remote machines with an SSH connection manager that supports WSL, and quickly switch between remote servers and clusters. You can split screens and arrange terminals, editors, and web views into workspaces and dashboards. You can navigate directories, preview markdown and images, and edit remote files with a built-in VSCode-like editor that includes syntax highlighting. An inline web browser gives you access to sites like GitHub, StackOverflow, dashboards, and your own apps.
Wave also helps you visualize information with graphical widgets and stickers, and you can build reusable widgets with HTML that are populated with data from the CLI. Dashboard layouts and widgets can be shared with coworkers or published online. All of your data is stored locally, no sensitive information leaves your network, and no login or account is required.
