About
WhoDB gives you one place to explore your databases, edit data, run queries, and understand how a schema fits together. It is available as a desktop app for macOS, and it also runs in the browser, can be self-hosted, and has a terminal CLI. It's suited to inspecting a local database, helping a teammate explore unfamiliar data, or working without installing a heavyweight database client.
You can browse and edit data in a spreadsheet-style grid with sorting, filtering, pagination, and inline editing. An interactive graph shows tables and their relationships, and a scratchpad lets you work through queries in multiple cells with autocomplete, history, and results kept alongside each query. You can also move data in and out with imports, exports, and mock-data generation.
AI features are optional. You can connect a local or hosted AI provider of your choice to ask questions in plain English. WhoDB supports a range of databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, and Redis, though available options vary by database.
