WPS Office for Mac is offered in versions for different Mac processors. The Apple chip version does not work on Intel-based Macs, so users should check their chip type before downloading. To check, click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of the desktop, select "About This Mac," and look at the chip type on the Overview page, which will show either "Intel" or "Apple." Users can then download the matching version, and an Intel chip version is also available.
The current version listed on the website is 12.1.29182 (2026.10.19). The page states that it supports macOS X 10.13 and later. However, a notice on the site says WPS does not currently support systems below macOS 10.14, and users on those versions must upgrade their system before downloading and using the app.
