About

YACReader is a comic reader and library manager for macOS, Windows and Linux, developed since 2009. YACReaderLibrary organizes, searches and manages collections of any size while leaving your folders as they are on disk. It adds metadata from Comic Vine and ComicInfo.xml, custom covers, and tools to rename and organize files based on metadata. Its search covers every field and supports a simple query syntax, and features like Continue Reading, reading lists, labels, favorites and ratings help you keep track of what to read next.

The YACReader reader lets you read page by page, in double-page mode, right to left, or with continuous scrolling. Companion apps for iPhone, iPad and Android let you browse your library remotely, download comics for offline reading, import comics, and keep your reading progress synchronized across devices.

For a always-available library, you can run the YACReaderLibrary server on a NAS or home server and access your collection through any browser. The desktop and server software is free to use, and the project is supported by donations and patrons.
