Yate is a Mac application built for people who want complete control over their tagging. It was designed from the ground up for macOS and uses its own tagging library. It can tag a wide range of formats, including mp3, m4a, mp4, m4b, m4v, flac, aiff, dff, dsf, ape, wav, ogg, and WavPack (wv) files. Yate also includes an innovative scripting system called actions, and it integrates with AcousticBrainz, AcousticID, Beatport, Discogs, iTunes/Music/TV, last.fm, MusicBrainz, and The Movie Database (TMDb). Many other integrations are available through actions.
Yate supports Macs running macOS 10.13 or later and is a universal build that runs natively on both Intel and Apple processors. It does not run on Windows. A 14-day trial is available with no feature limitations.
A single license costs $20.00 (USD), is valid for two concurrent activations, and does not expire. All updates are free. Payments are processed through FastSpring, with credit card, PayPal, and Amazon options.
