Youlean Loudness Meter helps you find the true perceived loudness of your audio and prepare it for TV or streaming release. It works in almost any DAW, including FL Studio, Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro X, Ableton Live, Reaper, Cubase, and Pro Tools. It is available as a standalone application and as VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plugins, on Windows and macOS. Its measurements include LUFS, loudness range (LRA), dynamic range (DR), and true peak (TP), and it offers presets for film, TV, gaming, and streaming standards such as ITU-R BS.1770-4, EBU R128, and presets for Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and Netflix.

The app also includes tools for analyzing your mix. A dynamics graph shows how the audio dynamics change over time, which can help you detect squashed or overcompressed mixes. You can drag and drop an audio or video file onto the plugin for a quick analysis, compare two measurements with A/B states, and export your results as PDF, PNG, or SVG files. The interface can be resized and scaled, switched to a mini mode, and set to light or dark appearance.

Youlean Loudness Meter is free to download, with a Pro version available for a one-time payment of $49 (currently $39 plus tax). Pro users receive lifetime free updates. The meter is calibrated and tested against ITU-R BS.2217 testing materials and satisfies the requirements of ITU-R BS.1770.
