About
Zentty is a free, native Mac terminal built on Ghostty for working with AI agents. Run Claude Code, Codex, and your other shells in one app, with each thread of work in its own worklane so agents and dev servers stay together. When an agent needs you, Zentty takes you to its pane.
Zentty detects agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, and Cursor as soon as you launch them, with no setup or plugin needed. Sidebar states, macOS notifications, and the menu bar show when an agent needs input, and tapping an alert opens the exact worklane and pane. Worklanes scroll through columns of panes instead of squeezing them together, and layouts and agent sessions can resume after a restart.
Zentty is driven by a command palette and keyboard shortcuts, with global search across every pane and agent state in the window. It also detects listening dev server ports, shows package scripts and other task runners in the palette, and can open a pane's directory in Finder or an editor. Install it by downloading it for macOS or running `brew install zentty`.
