About
Zeplin is a design delivery tool that gives developers a dedicated space for final designs, separate from the design canvas. Teams select and publish ready-for-dev frames from any design tool, document requirements and notes directly on screens, map end-to-end user flows with journey mapping tools, and track each screen's version history, inspired by Git.
Zeplin also helps teams stay organized and aligned. Teams can standardize how projects are structured, request and track design reviews, and share design system components and tokens through Styleguides linked to daily work. AI Design Review scans designs for off-system colors, spacing inconsistencies, typos, and accessibility issues, using either built-in review categories or custom prompts written for a team's own guidelines.
For handoff, Zeplin generates measurements, assets, and code snippets tailored to a team's development stack and connects designs to tools like Jira and Storybook. The Zeplin MCP server looks at both designs and documentation to generate code that matches how a team builds.
