About
Zipic is a native app for Mac and Windows that compresses, converts, resizes, and batch-processes images locally on your device. It supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, JPEG XL, TIFF, GIF, PDF, SVG, and APNG, plus ICNS on macOS. Because compression runs on your device, your images are never uploaded.
Zipic aims to reduce file size with minimal quality loss, and it can handle single files or large batches. Custom presets let you create settings for different compression scenarios and quality levels, and you can switch between them with one click. Ready-to-use defaults with pre-configured settings are also included.
Zipic offers drag-and-drop, hotkeys, menu access, and folder monitoring. Pro features include Notch Drop, clipboard auto-compress, custom notifications, metadata preservation, the zipic CLI, Apple Shortcuts, a Raycast extension, a URL Scheme, and Finder quick actions. Zipic includes a 7-day full Pro trial, after which basic features are available with 25 free uses per day, or you can upgrade to Pro. Pricing is a one-time payment with updates included.
