About
Basecamp is a project management app for managing projects, coordinating teams, and keeping work organized in one place. Its website describes it as famously straightforward and easy to use. Based on the page, teams can use it for message boards for announcements and discussions, to-do lists organized into groups with assignees and due dates, a file area for project assets and proofs, and a shared calendar showing deadlines, milestones, and meetings.
The site presents Basecamp as a tool that many teams rely on, noting that thousands of people are working in it right now and highlighting a multi-decade track record. It also mentions a free plan with paid upgrades, and the release of Basecamp 5. The page also references API, CLI, and agent-ready developer tools, though it doesn't detail them.
