About
BusyCal is a calendar app for macOS and iOS that lets you choose how your schedule looks. Pick Day, Week, Month, Year Planner, or List views, then adjust font sizes, colors, and density, and show or hide panels, tasks, and sticky notes. Countdowns to upcoming events and countups for ongoing ones keep you informed about what's happening and when.
BusyCal helps you organize and find what you need. Calendar Sets let you switch between groups of calendars, such as work, personal, and family, in a single click. Smart Filters combine search criteria and can remember your view settings. Suggestions offer past events as you type so you can reuse titles, times, locations, and notes, and the search field can also act as a filter mode. Color-coded tags help you categorize events.
BusyCal also covers daily planning. Tasks appear on their due dates, carry forward until completed, and sync with the Reminders app. Natural language input lets you add events and tasks quickly in several languages, and the menu bar extension gives you a mini-calendar and event list even when the main app is closed. Travel time can be calculated automatically with Location Services or set manually, and Favorite Time Zones help you coordinate across regions. Bookings, currently in beta, let others book time with you on a shared page.
