ToDoBar is a minimalistic yet powerful to-do list app for the Mac menu bar. You can create tasks quickly by typing a task and pressing Enter, and you can delete tasks with the Delete icon. Each task can have its own colors, deadline, and notification settings, and a colorful ring visualizes the time elapsed and remaining before a deadline. The app sends reminders before deadlines, and you can choose how far in advance to be notified, with notifications toggled globally or per task.
ToDoBar is a lightweight native app that supports Dark Mode, following the system theme or overriding it to your preference. You can customize the popover size, theme, and icon. The menu bar icon can show the number of pending tasks for the day, or display the next pending task without opening the app. It also provides analytics and history, letting you review your productivity over the past year and export your to-dos as a CSV file. The app runs on macOS 13 Ventura and later, and it is a one-time purchase with no in-app purchases.
