Typibara is ready for macOS 26 Tahoe, with enhanced customization options, improved performance, and better user control over when and how your capybara companion appears.
SMART VISIBILITY CONTROLS
• Remember settings option: The automatic show/hide condition now includes an optional "Remember settings" toggle. When enabled, Typibara will remember your visibility preferences between app launches. When disabled, it safely defaults to showing everywhere on restart - giving you the choice between convenience and peace of mind.
• Performance optimizations: Proper cleanup when hidden, saving system resources and improving battery life when the app is supposed to be out of sight.
PERFECT POSITIONING
• Horizontal flip: Whether you prefer Typibara on the left or right side of your screen, your capybara companion can now face the correct direction! Toggle the flip setting from either the menu bar or Settings → General, and watch Typibara smoothly turn to face your preferred side.
AND MORE
• Memory usage improvements with better resource cleanup and optimized event handling.
• Enhanced synchronization between menu bar controls and settings to ensure all preferences stay perfectly in sync.
• Improved international keyboard support for users with non-Latin language layouts.
We hope you enjoy this more customizable and efficient Typibara experience on macOS 26 Tahoe!
